How do you feel about shipping Kaneki and Furuta (I liked how they looked together in Kaneki's black reaper phase)?
Oh aesthetically this goes hard. A funny pairing conceptually, but one my brain just never quite latched onto. I'm open to it, and I like it in certain fics and whatnot! But Ken Kaneki is like a piece of bread to me. I'm tired of looking at his face.
Seeing them beat each other up homoerotically could be fun. I don't know if they're work long-term romantically, but who knows, I can certainly try to understand that. It's two of the fakest bitches you've ever met in a box. They've spoken about two truths in their entire relationship that weren't along the lines of "That's annoying" or "You're no fun." Interesting, but I prefer some desperation for flavor. If they actually hate each other, they need an outside force sticking them together and these two do not have that, so I think they'd get bored of it.
I suppose the intrigue for me is more in their stupid mind games than the actual relationship, and that can be romantic, platonic, and everything in between and otherwise.
