The Master was reading in his-well.... Their room technically now he imagined- when he heard a bit of ruckus in the room beside his, which was Wendy's old room. 

Deciding not to say anything, he continued reading and ignored whatever Wendy and most likely his TARDIS were arguing about this time.

He even did quite well ignoring when she came in in a huff and dropped a pile of destroyed clothes at his feet.
