Hey, make sure you tell congress to fund libraries
Let em know how important libraries are and how much you need them in life
Good luck yall!
Now that the 43-day federal government shutdown – the longest in history – has ended, Congress must turn to finalizing a full Fiscal Year (F
One thing that really pisses me off is that people do not use libraries enough. You have free books, free internet access, free printing, sometimes even free music and audiobooks, games, digital and physical, and maybe thye might host clubs. But, literally nobody has an interest in them or goes to them and use as much as they should. so...
GO OUTSIDE AND USE YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY NOW!!1!

BOOKS!!!!!!!!
Look yes total apocalypse is bad but imagine getting to be one of the grandchildren of the final survivers, having lived in the wilds your whole life, before coming across an old city and entering it's library. Bit of mold here, some water damage there, but most of it still legible.
Imagine getting to discover all of humanity all over again.

Library haul!!!
My nephew wanted to go on a bike ride today, so we popped over to the library and got some books for vacation.
We also saw a small farmer stand on our way up and bought some corn :D
Anywho, thought it would be fun to show y'all the library books I checked out, just to see how diverse it can get! Genuinely, I didn't know the library had some of this stuff, let alone the vast selection of it.
Here it is!
Beetles, Bugs, and Butterflies: This book is adorable oh my DAYS. It's a children's book featuring some little critters, and in the back of the book there are crochet tutorials for each of the little guys in the book! This is such a clever idea :D I got it because I need to practice amigurumi and the instructions seem really simple.
Watercolor 101: a basic watercoloring book lmao. I did not know that we had 5 fricken books dedicated to watercolor tricks, but I guess we do! I just got the basic book since I'm brand new to watercoloring.
Happy Orchid: It's a book on caring for plants! Moms usually the one taking care of our garden, but I figured I could learn some tricks in the case that I get my own.
Black Butler: Look man, I am not a weeb I swear. However, I like me some manga from time to time, and this looks pretty good. I'll check back in to see how I like it lol.
I also donated 7 books! Today's journey was so fun, and now I have things to do when we're up north for the week!
Hope you enjoyed :)
