Happy new year! As I reflect on the past year, it was definitely epic and filled with so many milestones and adventures. The highlights included starting a new job in HR at BlackRock, moving from Harlem to Brooklyn with Brandon, the birth of my niece Ruby, and traveling to over 20 cities in the US and abroad - both familiar places I love and entirely new & exciting locales…oh and I turned 30. Check, woot! It was also so special to end it all by celebrating the love of my good friends Jen and Scott. Wow, what a year! It was a great year for sure but also one filled with change, challenges, loneliness, frustration and sadness. I did my best to face this head on by remaining honest with myself, opening up to others for support and asking for help when I needed it but I still have a lot of room for growth. All part of the journey within which will lead me towards a deeper sense of self and greater impact. Thank you, 2018. And to my friends and family who made it a year to remember, I’m so grateful to have you in my life. Here’s to the next year!
