Asa is the only son of Shoto and Momo and, although his parents are still friends, they got divorced when Asa was six. 

Before U.A he lived with his father and Inasa (his stepdad), since his mother was in another country. He is a dork: loves manga and cartoon in general, has a shit ton of merch from his favorite shows and will often be seen in conventions when he was the time. 

Asa is a brilliant young man that looks up to his parents (Inasa included) and works very hard to make them proud. He is the only one in his friend group that is in the Big Three at U.A.
