So I previously mentioned footwear. Disney does provide shoes for custodians, but as I've said before a lot of people don't like them. Also like I said before I've been wearing the same pair of work boots for a while now and they are still in decent shape. I don't mind buying my own work shoes if I know they'll be comfortable and can handle all the walking I do at work. Here is a link to the specific boots I have now. They are fantastic. I highly recommend them. Just to be clear this is not a paid endorsement by Disney or anything. Just me letting you all know of a good option for shoes/boots to work in.

As the day begins all shiny and new The park is spotless and ready for you Overlooked as you enter the queue Custodians are people too They clean your trash Making the world a much more cleaner place Cut them some slack Protein spills are cleaned up without a trace The parade begins an hour after two Your kids drop their ice cream all over your shoes It starts to melt what are you to do Custodians are people too They scrape the gum That you so carelessly threw on the ground Pan & broom the crumbs From the pop corn boxes that you left around When you are going to the bathroom Please remember to have respect It's their job to go in after you To hose 'em down and disinfect 

I haven't had time to get quality custodial post-worthy things together to post. Also I am on the fence of whether or not I am going to continue to be a custodian (or even at Disney). I mean, once a custodian, always a custodian. But I'm ready to move on to new paths in my life. That doesn't mean I have to end this blog, I mean I haven't posted anything really and have gotten a handful of new followers in the past weeks. I assume most, if not all of my followers are custodians or know a custodian. Feel free to submit things for me to post.
