I'm getting my first dose tomorrow, second dose is April 1st, and it takes 2 weeks to fully activate. Although I have 2 appointments, this date is subject to change. I booked through CVS and I've heard from several people that their second appointments were cancelled. It just lowers the viral load so you are less likely to die from it, and less likely to be an asymptomatic carrier. Therefore I will still be wearing a mask and requiring masks (see previous post), but the difference will be less anxiety for all of us. And that, after a year of morality fatigue, is a blessing I'll take! If you take an appointment that someone cancelled or no-showed, you do NOT have to be eligible because it goes in your arm instead of in the trash.
