I finally got a chance to meet Paul d’Orleans @thevintagent ! I’m extremely grateful for Paul and everything he does in the motorcycle world and what he has done for me. Four years ago he gave me a chance to have some of my photography published in his book “The Chopper: The Real Story” and it was nice to finally get a chance to thank him for that opportunity in person. This is Phil, he's an Aussie and quite possibly my real dad... ahahha It's like looking into the future and seeing what yourself will look like in 30 years. Phil has a bike that he leaves here in the States and he comes over every year during Australia's winter to ride and explore. He told me he picks out a river he hasn't seen yet and tries to follow it from the beginning until the end. He's even kept a map of his travels since 1976. With hundreds of jokes, and a wealth of knowledge not only about motorcycles and racing, but life philosophy's too, Phil has to be one of my top 10 people I have ever met in my life. It was amazing getting to know him over the last week, learning from him and joking around about being his son. I hope we get to hang again soon and ride some where far together.
