Here’s one of those stories that can only happen on the EDR. This cat Barba Negra Metal Works / https://bit.ly/3fzEHSB has been trying to make an El Diablo Run for several years from his hometown of Obregon in mainland Mexico. 2021 was the first year he successfully made the 1600 mile journey and it was on this hand built jalopy of a single cylinder, single down tube mini-chopper he calls “Chanclita”. (That may mean tiny sandal but I’m not sure lol). Anyway, as if that’s not special enough, he brought a pair handmade gloves and a bitchin’ handmade flask shaped like a sporty tank for us to give out as trophies to bike show winners. He rode all this way on this crazy bike and had gifts for people he’d never met. That’s truly generous and people like him are why we keep doing this run. Thanks for the inspiration Fern, it was an honor to meet you and we all hope you made it home ok! -Bill
