But we haven’t got much insight on his personality besides the typical admirable characteristics like his sense of leadership (which I don’t have) and his addiction to women’s scent/perfume (I’m too lazy to wear perfume, and I don’t notice if someone wears one, unless it’s really strong)].

Like just take a moment to think of the minor characters such as Macao, Wakaba, Romeo, Laki, Jet, Droy etc. They had to go through 7years of pain just to be reunited with their guildmates for a few months and then bam Makarov decides to disband the guild because.. "It's the end of an era"?? What the shit Makarov! You better have an explanation for this!
