He’s seriously messed up atm -Natsu dealing with his messed up brother trying to knock some sense in him, badass like always - Rahkeid was never really my fav char,I’m glad he’s gone and not their real son. August makes so much more sense and because of that and the past he had there is more depth and meaning to the parent child relationship. -August, keep in mind he was one to negotiate with (Brandish’s words) so it doesn’t surprise me that he didn’t go all out in the beginning. I guess he just wanted to understand the parent child relationship he never had and seeing that before him with Cana and her dad it is natural for him to be envious about it, turning that envy into rage but still trying to understand in his own way. -The fact that he saw his mother for the first time in a very long long time, he’s old you know and he prolly even never had seen his mother for real? Maybe he only had an image of her in his head somehow. Anyways seeing her (not zeref since he already has been with him and I guess motherly love means more to a child) must’ve triggered all his desires and inner feelings. I really sympathize with him he’s such an interesting character and it saddens me that his time in the manga is over already. What saddens me even more is the fact that Mavis still doesn’t know she had a child who yearned to be loved by his parents sighhh
