Pan-fried halibut fillets are served with a vibrant kiwi berry salsa, creating a refreshing and flavorful seafood dish.
Ingredients: 2 halibut fillets 6 oz each. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 kiwi, peeled and diced. 1/2 cup mixed berries such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, diced. 1/4 red onion, finely chopped. 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced. 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro. 1 tablespoon lime juice. 1 tablespoon honey.
Instructions: You should season both sides of the halibut fillets with salt and pepper. In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. If you want the halibut to be golden brown and cooked all the way through, cook it for three to four minutes on each side. In the meantime, mix kiwi, mixed berries, red onion, jalapeo pepper, cilantro, lime juice, and honey in a bowl. Combine well by mixing. Take the halibut out of the pan and serve it with kiwi berry salsa on top.
