For Cherry Glaze:. 1 cup powdered sugar. 2 tbsp cherry puree. For Fruit Pebble Topping:. 1/2 cup fruit pebbles cereal. 1/4 cup powdered sugar. 1/4 cup chopped cherries.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and grease a donut pan. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the cherry puree, milk, vegetable oil, and egg. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Gently fold in the chopped cherries. Spoon the batter into the greased donut pan, filling each cavity about 2/3 full. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into a donut comes out clean. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. For the Cherry Glaze, mix powdered sugar and cherry puree until smooth.
