first of all oh my god your image dividers are so cool. second, I'm very interested in doing a deep dive on Virghil, so: 2, 3, 10, 28, 30, 32, 51, 57?
*cries in elven* OTL i love u AND THANK U?? ?
2. before they met their party, what was their main goal? Help to stop the Blight or find a way how to mobilize Dales in joining the war efforts. The leadership of his nation refused to fight the darkspawn, thinking they're safe in Dales. So he left to make sure the horde never gets to Dales and they’d be right :')
3. what is their goal right now? Unsure?? He feels very sidetracked, there's smaller goals but the closest he got to the big goal of stopping the Blight was learning of the Archdemon and that you can't kill it unless you're a Grey Warden : ))) So his priority rn would be to aid the wardens in any possible way, which is not what we've been really doing lately. Recently we heard of a lost Warden Commander that may need aid in the mountains, so he's very eager to help with that for now.
10. how often do they lie? what situations cause them to be dishonest? FUNNY YOU ASK because Virghil used to lie pretty often (mostly just to give people answers they wanted so he could go on and do his own thing). He can come up with a story of how he's a lost ancient elven noble on the spot to get access to an important NPC, but ever since he joined team with Brynn ( @petardaaaa ‘s chasind archer), he sorta can't lie anymore. Because they consider it a very fkin dirty sin so sometimes it gets funny because he forgetskjfnl
28. who would they kill? who would they kill for? Virghil isn't the type to kill people out of hatred. He has a lot of people that did him dirty, people that hurt him and took his life from him, but he doesn't take it personally somehow? He just shrugs it off like "they had to do what they had to do". He'd def kill for his daughter tho. And Brynn, he sorta owes his life to her so it would probably make sense to him. Definitely not an executioner though, he prefers to let the people who were hurt solve it themselves and be the support.
30. what do they seek out from others? He'd love to know he can count on people. He doesn't need personal loyalty, but loyalty to getting things done. Common goal and equal devotion to it.
32. do they seek control, or do they want less of it? More. He's used to having things clear and under control, knowing what to do, but right now absolutely nothing makes sense, rules don't apply and he's lost in the motion just being dragged along the events.
51. what is the most beautiful thing in the world, for them? Whenever he came home from months of guarding the borders of Dales, without a fail, every single time, his daughter Ira would yell happily and drop whatever she was holding when she'd see him. He doesn't think anything can top that really, especially because he knows he wasn't a very present dad :’)
57. what makes them angry? Injustice, abuse of the weak. I don't think he gets angry easily, I think he's very patient and doesn't take things personally? It's really hard to insult him, he's above it 👌 But others getting screwed over? Oh man
