question: has anyone watched "fringe"? i've just watched the pilot and that's a good pilot but it's boring as hell and emotionallt dry. however, i do find the core theme very compelling and relevant to this day and age. so: should i continue? does it get better? (lol)
peter being the only one who hasn't yet made an outright misogynistic comment is just... weird. Walter is teetering on a ledge there.
also, i like the fact that olivia is law enforcement and mostly cold in demeanor without the "i had brothers growing up" trope. she's a seriously likeable character. and i say that quite rarely.
girls will literally watch a show from 2008 on a whim, become intensely attached to the main character, and then dress up as that character for halloween in 2022 🙄

You are not immune to the Walter/Peter Relationship.
The only reason to watch this 2000’s era television series with any frequency is their relationship. I’m rewatching the show once again just for these two.
Can we talk about this moment between Peter and Walter in "The Road Not Taken?"
Peter worked hard on this device for his father because he knew it would make him happy. I mean just look at the way Walter lights up, delighted that his son did this for him.
He's choked up, lost for words. And Peter's pleased smile at his father's reaction.
This is in contrast from the beginning of the season--when he was suddenly thrust into this situation with his estranged, and now slightly discombobulated father, in which he made known his obvious frustration and resentment of having been roped into playing babysitter. He was often short and irritated with Walter, and further, appalled at his former unethical science research/experiments. He still expresses these complicated feelings at times but look at the difference.
Again, he worked on this project that took time and energy. All for his father's enjoyment. (It just so happened to also be helpful in case.)
I don't know. I just found this moment so sweet🥹. It really shows the growth in their relationship.
