I saw Project Hail Mary and thought to myself oh yeah this man is aroace. but I just assumed that was a me thing and that I was just projecting onto characters again but then coming on here and seeing almost everyone thinking the same thing?? It’s amazing. It feels so lovely and somewhat surreal to have a character that while not canonically aroace is largely accepted to by the fandom and is a main character !! like usually even if a character is aroace they are always a side character and people almost always ship them anyway and ignore it—which, you can obviously ship whoever you want with whomever but the fact that I get a main character and everyone else acknowledges it too????
