Hey! I saw that you reblogged some art labeled “fright falls”, and I’ve never seen that AU for GF before. Could you tell us a little bit more about what that is?

Thank you. I always enjoy finding and reblogging stuff from when GF was airing as it has that uniqueness and charm that a lot of newer fan art often feels like it's lacking. By that I mean fans back then were very expansive and exploring characters and ideas a lot compared to nowadays where it's mainly grunkles or Bill stuff. Not to say that's bad but just, it felt like old school GF fandom had more variety.
As for Fright Falls, I had to do a bit of searching given the results kept being for the more well known Fight Falls AU. Luckily, the Tumblr page for it, though defunct, was archived on Wayback. I think the bio explains it best...
It seems the page was active till 2015 and then shut down in 2019. Shame really, given there's barely any surviving record of it now. It's so obscure an AU that not even the GF AU wiki list has it.
Kind of makes you think how many AU's out there once existed for GF on small/obscure pages or had maybe only 1 or 2 artists and writers who kept it alive and when they left or deleted their accounts, the AU was lost to time.
I guess Fright Falls is another AU like that; popular once for some...lost and forgotten now.
