Back to the Boonies
Really delighted and thought maybe others might be interested how my voice has changed on low-dose T.
I'm taking 5g gel (25mg actively absorbed) daily, it's been 16 weeks (though I missed a few days here and there).
I could always reach this lower range if I forced myself singing, but now it's a lot more natural and comfortable. That's why I've shared two recordings from right when I started (one in my most comfortable range, then switching to my highest forced range) (one forcing as low as I could).
My speaking voice has only changed subtly, and only one person has noticed (while many people know), though it might be the gradualness is less obvious for people I talk to every day.
I haven't done any voice training, though I did sing in a children's choir (pre-first-puberty so so it's been a while).
i haven't wanted to kill myself in a while
it's really cool that something so intertwined with every thought has vanished without leaving a gap
i look in the mirror and i like my face now
i LIKE it
i take selfies nearly every day when before i would have a photo of myself maybe every six months
i haven't wanted to relapse
i haven't wanted to die
testosterone has genuinely saved my life
darker leg hair omg... like so so so much darker. and my face has changed so much like my cheekbones are so much more obvious and i gained so much muscle just by doing like beginner workouts twice a week im so fucking happy... and i think maybe my facial hair has gotten a little darkerrr maybe????? 3 months on T rahhhhhhh
In honour of my six month testostiversary, I dedicate this very low effort doodle to my little brother, the one person in my life who just Gets It.

..Hm.. Either I'm allergic to chlorobutanol, or I have a bad infection in my leg from my injections.. possibly both.
Guess who gets to message their doctor tomorrow to tell them I might be allergic to the preservative in the testosterone π
Guess who ALSO is going to do tomorrow's injection ANYWAY to make sure, because science?
Youuuu guessed it! lol
Notevenkiddingthough my legs hurt SO MUCH lol I thought the irritation was from bug bites cause it started bothering me last Sat after round 4 injection like 5 days later.. and only after I was out doors in the evening.
FML man, *of course* I'm allergic to the shit now that I finally got the nerve to get the ball rolling.
And yes, as part of the 'for science!' I took some Zyrtec and the swollen areas calmed down a little & my nose unstuffed.. for about 3hrs. Fuuuuck my body & it's ability to process meds so quickly.. It's annoying AF.
"Lasts 12hr!"
"Coool so I may as well just fkin tough it out cause this is gonna help for 3-4hrs tops & I canβt take more than 1 in a 24hr period.."
Hey Frankie!!
Hope youβre well
(Pls donβt feel forced to answer this if youβre uncomfortable :/)
