Friday party had a lot of weird things happening.
The party closed at 02 AM. I had returned to the party 15 minutes before that after being somewhere else for almost an hour. The party was obviosly dying and closing soon. But very quickly after entering I would walk by a girl and our attention would meet and we would dance - it all happened in a few moments. I was wearing a brightly colored open shirt and a one-colour t-shirt and also had flowers around my neck. The girl took my flowers and I thought ‘why not’. Then she started to take my shirt and I said something to her, then discovered she was Finnish so we had to speak English. It was difficult to talk because we had significantly different heights, and she had trouble coordinating her mouth properly to my ear. She was drunk, I knew. I let her wear my shirt too, but I did not want her to keep it of course, so I would not let her disappear with it. The last time a girl borrowed my shirt, we ended up having sex later...
It was very difficult to establis eye contact and I have no feeling whether it was the drunkenness or the height difference or something else. But it was not a lack of interesting in dancing with me. We would dance closer, arms around each other and heads together. Despite the height difference, I managed to get down enough to let our noses touch each other, and from there I noticed her lips folding and head slight turning in order to be ready for a kiss. So we kissed, and we did that a couple of times dancing around despite the obstacle that I could never make her bend her head backwards and face upwards, which would have been easier for me than limbo down with my knees each time. I had put on lip balm not that much earlier that evening, but this week my lips were more dry than usual, but it was nice. Her movements and coordination were clearly affected by alcohol though.
When the music ended and the light were turned off, she talked a lot with her friends, going back and forth between the two of them. I had no idea what they were talking about. I asked what she was doing now, and I think she said she had to go to her boyfriend. She didn’t give me much attention, but kept talking to her friends. I honestly didn’t expect her to say that. I wondered if he could be one of her two friends (or that it had to look like that - the ‘truth’ didn’t matter, I would have been rejected nonetheless) and thought about the happenings as ‘what I’ve done’. I only knew her name and that she was from Finland. I wondered how much my friends that were in the same room had seen and what they thought.
Before they left out of the door, I asked her if I could have my shirt back. While I grabbed my flowers, she took the shirt off quickly without looking at me, as if she had forgotten she was wearing it.
