With two computers currently out of commission, I'm doing the tech equivalent of living out of boxes.

Days in Porto are usually refreshers. We come here to see people, to be with people, to enjoy our time with the loved ones we only get to see once a fortnight. But there's a side to it, an uneasiness that is riddled with guilt, that comes from having my main work station in Viana - I can only do footwork and run errands, because editing is out of the question. So now my heart is torn between the peace of being in my favorite place in the world, of soaking my feet and breathing in the ocean air (and try blessing that It is, to do it in late October!) - and the feeling that I should be sitting in front of the computer. I'm trying not to let it take over - I work enough weekends, enough extra hours to warrant myself a couple of days to recharge.
