Price is definitely off by a factor of 2, I think it was only $80/90 USD, I mixed it up with the Imperial Knight I was eyeballing around the same time but never purchased.
As for "thank goodness Age of Sigmar exists," yes, but there are so many other games than GW. All my Necrons are going to be used for One Page Rules - Robot Legions. Last time I played 40k was 4th edition I think, before they even got their second Codex and they were still a thin paperback codex with like 9 different units in it. There's a relatively healthy OPR community around here and it's largely disillusioned ex-40K players like myself who have a lot of models but hate the game they're attached to.
The great thing is, it's model-agnostic, so you'll never catch grief from anyone for getting a bunch of the absolutely amazing 3D printed stuff that's out there, either. I was just reviewing my options for more Robot kits from my 3D file library this morning.
