#freckled ymir

Historia usually kept her head down and eyes focused on the job, and today something in her was not having it. Her eyes became fuzzy when she looked at her spreadsheets, fingers limp when she tried to type anything, wrists tired when lifted her pen, notebook seeming to be too heavy for her hands, something was wrong with her. "Coffee?" Her friend said, setting a mug down on the desk without waiting for a response. She nodded.

"Thanks, Sasha." And her friend who had dropped off her coffee laughed in her face. It was Ymir. Tall, tanned, muscular Ymir with freckles across her face and short brown hair slicked back, Ymir who looked hardened by life and had a miniature scar on her nose to add to her ex-gangster look. "Oh. Ymir." She greeted, and her face broke into a wide smile as she pulled up a chair. "What is it?" She asked, and Ymir leaned back in her chair. "What?"

"No, nothing." She sipped her coffee, which she always took black with an extra spoon and a half of coffee. "I suppose it's, well," She chuckled and observed Historia from over the rim of her mug, which was patterned with newspapers, "It's dangerous." Her voice dropped to hardly a whisper, so Historia had to lean in to hear her properly.

"What is?" Historia hardly whispered back. "What's dangerous?"

"Us, I mean, Princess," Ymir's voice now almost a scoff, "Imagine if word got around the office that we were a thing." She chuckled again, and Historia flicked a note at her, "I'm sure they'd all support us but dear oh dear the things I could tell them." She lined the lip of her cup with her finger as Historia flushed bright red.

"But I'd like us to be more than just a thing." Historia said. "I'd like us to be able to 'be' a couple. Really 'be'. You know?" She finished, and Ymir crossed her legs by throwing it up.

"I agree. So, I'll meet you when we get off work?" Ymir said eventually, and the blonde almost burst, satisfied with her doing, the taller stood up and walked up to her desk again.

"Did you do it?" Her office partner, an Italian man named Niccolo who had a crush on Sasha asked. Ymir gave him a nod.

"Well, I suppose I should go and speak to Sasha then." He stood up from his desk, and then instantly sat down again. "After work though. Send me those files."
