Here’s my awesome cartoon crossover idea between 2004 Danny Phantom and 1975 Fraidy Cat

So. For context. I used to watch Fraidy Cat when I was younger. It was only one episode I beleive but I enjoyed it.

The show centers around a cat (Fraidy) who used up 8 of his lives and is trying to make his last life well..... Last longer. However, when he says a number 1-8 a ghost appears. When he says 9 however, a cloud shaped like the number 9 appears and chases Fraidy and tries to strike him down

Now who is this crush I developed you ask? Hep Cat (Aka this guy)

As always, more than willing to share (Especially considering Fraidy Cat's SUCH an underrated show)

Am thinking on a self insert to ship with him. I already thought on my inspo for her (She'd be a con artist who doubles as a musician (Obviously dead but I dunno if I wanna make her a ghost or make her a zombie) but yeah. Top Cat and Hokey wolf would kinda be my inspo)

I can’t stop thinking of the old series….again.

Another Fraidy Cat drawing. Wanted to really practice drawing out Fraidy. Especially when I haven’t drawn him in a decade. Funny how looking back on my past artwork of him, my art skills has improved ALOT. Body structure looks very neat and well shaped, color and shading looks much nicer to look at. I feel like I’m still making improvements on always making those freaking lines smooth. But all in all, I’m proud of this (especially the last one on the bottom left).

I pretty much made a bit of an error on Fraidy’s eyes in the first few drawings. When looking at the references, it looked almost as if they needed to be a bit separated. As soon as I finished outlining them, I noticed the mistake and…oof yeah, no going back to that. But made a bit of redemption by fixing it in the last drawing.

I also wanted to continue testing on shading WITHOUT making it soft like I typically do, in order to bring in the old comic and cartoony feel that I view the show to be if it ever had a reboot. Most of it inspired by What’s New Scooby Doo series and the Scooby Doo comics I stumbled upon when visiting a comic book store.
