You might recognize these distinctive yellow chairs, scattered throughout the von Trapp villa in the 1965 classic ๐ป๐๐ ๐บ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐ด๐๐๐๐. But did you know, theyโve appeared in other productions as well? ย Part of a large set once owned by Twentieth Century Fox (now Twentieth Century Studios), the collection included numerous Louis XV and Louis XVIโstyle pieces: chairs both with and without arms, at least two settees, and multiple bergรจresโsome upholstered, others canedโall covered in that unmistakable yellow fabric. ย Several pieces from the set appear in the 1963 comedy ๐ป๐๐๐ ๐ฏ๐๐, ๐บ๐๐โ๐ ๐ด๐๐๐, and later in the 1966 episode of ๐ป๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐ ๐ป๐๐๐๐๐ entitled ๐น๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐. ย The chairs likely appeared in many more Fox productions before 1963 and after 1966.
