The guardian looks up from the pile of food he is sorting. "Memory?" he asks. He looks around after you nod, his primal eyes in an endless drip, yet nothing ever reaches the floor. "Am I not in a memory now?"
You shake your head, confused. No one told you that this dragon was...off.
"I see," Cian says after a few moments of contemplation. "I suppose that makes sense; memories typically aren't able to interact with me. Well, then." He goes back to sorting the food as he begins to explain.
"My experience with time is not linear, you see. So a memory for you will not be the same as a memory for me. But to best answer your question, I'd have to say that my favorite memory is when Starspine arrived in our clan. Many things happened that day for the clan as a whole and for individual members. Twyla, Allison, and Rohais specifically come to mind; they don't know it yet, but certain things were set in motion that day." Cian grins. "I cannot wait until they know this, too. As for the clan, this is when it started to be a lair, and not simply a gathering of lost dragons. Starspine is our mascot, so to speak, so upon his arrival, many other things have fallen into place. We have a now library, and a museum, as well as a growing military. We are a community, now."
