Favourites This is our conversation over lunch yesterday; Mommy preparing snacks for Eliana’s ballet class. Mommy asked: Eliana I will bring two of this fruit candy and we can give one to your friend? Eliana: No Mommy it is my favourite. Daddy explaining about Favorites: He said you know when we love someone we give them our favourites. You can pray about it in giving up your favourite and giving it to your friend. That is one way you show your love to your friend. Then we started the discussion: God gave His Only Begotten Son, His most favorite Son, to die on the cross for our sins. Why? Because He loved the world, He loved us, He doesn’t love our sins but because of His loved for us He gave and made and provided a way for us to be right with Him and that is ONLY through His ONLY BEGOTTEN FAVORITE SON JESUS CHRIST. Parents! Every moment is an opportunity to share the gospel to our children, not just discussion but on how you live as parents abiding the Lord and His word. Every moment is an opportunity to share the gospel to Eliana. Praying one day or maybe today she will grasp that truth in her heart.
