So we have a new Austrian transfer in our school (which is kind of a big deal since we have a hella small, rural school), and he's in my Art Two class. I was just fascinated to hear him speak since English isn't his first language (I'm pretty sure someone said he can speak 3 languages?) and it was amazing to see him just put all these English words together, and sometimes he forgot a word, thought about it, then get a little "ah" expression, and said the word, and I loved it because I just have so much respect for people who learn other languages (I mean English is a difficult language to learn, hell I barely even know all the the rules of English and it's my only language) and he's extremely fluent in it, and it's great, and refreshing to see that and be reminded of that. Plus,, he's really funny and fun to talk too and pretty cute, eeeeyyy.
Anyways, the best part was, that today we started a project where we visually express idioms, and he was in my group where we had to think of as many idioms as possible. As soon as he started explaining the some German idioms, we would immediately supply it with an English version, and vice versa. Overall, it was a really cool experience and he's a really cool, respectable, funny guy.
