X-Force (2024)
The most "Oh that was it?" comic book I've ever read.
Forge is putting together a new X-Force team, based on an upgrade he's given himself recently to predict disasters. But can he predict what it's leading him to?
It's a very plot-focused book, giving the characters very little time to just be. There's some conversations at the start, reasons given as to why they join the team, but very little after that. The plot isn't much to write home about, and even though all of its twists were set up early the thing they twisted into was often just 'meh'.
There were some fun bits but I struggle to grasp onto anything of this book. I don't hate it, but I don't think I'll remember reading it.
