Heron Feeding

At Forest Farm in August. 夏は浜松・磐田にある中安さんの所へと伺わせて頂いた。プーレ・ノワールというフランス黒鶏、バルネベルダー(ネラ)というオランダ黄斑種をそれぞれ卵、肉用に飼育されている養鶏場だ。 鶏が人間同様に発酵物含めバランス良い食事をし、風呂に入り(土浴び)、風を感じている事が一番ビョーキにならんと改めて痛感。 鶏インフルエンザってな…どっからか飛んできた"野鳥から感染"と言うけれど、いっつもギュウギュウ詰めの集約型畜産場からしか出ないのよ。 集約されてる上にその飼育環境も不潔極まりないから、すぐにビョーキが広まり、殺処分する羽数も半端ない数になる。 要するに〇〇という不特定のウィルスや疾患、病を罹っても、対抗出来る身体が仕上がってるかどうかって事、心がどう在るかってこと。 (コロナの事だけ言ってんじゃないよ… 老害他はすぐ人の言葉結び付けて叩きやがるから最初に述べておかねば。。。　むしろコロナいっぺん罹って基礎抗体ある方が安心だわ) 自分達の考える方向性には沢山未来があるなとも思えたし、そんな方向性の先に中安さんみたいな大先輩が既にいるって事が嬉しいこと！ いつもありがとうございます。 (ちなみにブラジル生活が長かった中安さんには、ブラジルネタもめちゃくちゃ通じてついつい現地人と話している気分になってしまう… 🇧🇷) #forestfarm #omefarm #🇧🇷 (Iwata, Shizuoka) https://www.instagram.com/p/CT9RpcJhPDT/?utm_medium=tumblr

Belted Kingfisher With its top-heavy physique, energetic flight, and piercing rattle, the Belted Kingfisher seems to have an air of self-importance as it patrols up and down rivers and shorelines. It nests in burrows along earthen banks and feeds almost entirely on aquatic prey, diving to catch fish and crayfish with its heavy, straight bill.
