On 7/31/2019 Trump has a private meeting with Putin. On 8/3/2019, just 3 days after his private meeting with Putin, Trump issues a request for a list of top US spies. By 2021 the CIA reports an unusually high number of their agents are being captured and/or being murdered. During the search executed at Mar A Lago the FBI find more documents with lists of U.S. informants on them.

Is it ethical for a journalist to wear a wire to dinner and spy for a foreign intelligence agency at the same time as they’re writing for one of Canada’s biggest newspapers? Most experts on journalism ethics might say that’s clearly “unethical,” but National Post columnist Adam Zivo is adamant he sees “no problem” with presenting himself as a journalist by day while moonlighting for a foreign spy agency by night. Zivo, who was sanctioned by Russia in August 2022, has recently been sharing dramatic and fantastical stories about a “weird espionage experience” he had while he was doing war zone reporting on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine for the National Post.

The CIA may have just doxxed itself.

The New York Times is reporting that the Central Intelligence Agency, complying with Trump’s attempts to purge the federal government, sent his administration an unclassified email containing a list of every single person the CIA had hired over the past two years. Security experts everywhere are alarmed at the news, as many of those named closely monitor U.S. adversaries like Russia and China—and could soon become targets because of it.

The list, which was sent to the White House’s Office of Management and Budget, contained names of operatives whose identities are typically guarded. It’s not clear how many names were in the email.

“Exposing the identities of officials who do extremely sensitive work would put a direct target on their backs for China,” Democratic Senator Mark Warner wrote on X. “A disastrous national security development.”

Breaking new data has revealed a threat to America’s universities far deeper and more dangerous than previously understood. I can guarantee you that there are liaison services right now, services that work with us, foreign intelligence services who have probably decided to do a little self-editing and have said, look, we just don't know what he is going to do.
