Yooo, been thinking about IF in the earlier chapters how Omen used to put Kit to sleep all the time when he was imprisoned, and Kit mentally complaining that he never got a good sleep out of it anyway. Like, you never see that anywhere. If the whumpee was forced to sleep, they either feel fine afterwards, or disoriented for a little bit (or how they feel is never described), but it's way more realistic for tej whumpee to wake up super groggy and just feel like absolute shit, because chances are they woke up in the middle of a sleep cycle, which lasts 1.5 hours. Highly unlikely the whumper would only wake them up when the cycle ends.

I think it’s from my experience of medication that put you to sleep or made you really tired, like I would always wake up and feel like shit after it, because it’s a forced sleep, not your body’s natural rhythms, so that is so interesting ahahahahha!! That’s a detail I never really noticed, so thank you for pointing it out Neon🥰🫶
Although, having said that, I kind of hope Kit wakes feeling refreshed after this sleep, but let’s be real, with their history… probably not gonna happen😔 poor Kit
