STUCK  SOMEWHERE  BETWEEN  TOO  MUCH  PRIDE  ‘N  THINKIN’  YOU’RE  IN  LOVE  .    stuck  somewhere  between  remembering  why  he  had  given  her  another  chance  the  first  time  ,  ‘n  wondering  how  he  had  given  her  so  much  power  to  hurt  him  in  the  first  place  .   even  if  he  hadn’t  let  all  his  walls  down  ,  exposed  his  bare  bones  for  her  ,  she  somehow  managed  to  claw  her  way  completely  inside  ‘n  devour  him  whole  .   the  irony  ?    she  had  no  clue  .   ❝     YOU  REALLY  THINK  THAT’S  GONNA  WORK  AGAIN  ,  HUH  ?   ❞    a  laugh  coated  in  disbelief  ,  a  laugh  that  would  aid  in  keeping  such  a  nonchalant  facade  .   tongue  would  quickly  swipe  over  lips  as  he  took  a  step  back  ,  away  from  her  .                      ❝     GET  THE  FUCK  OUTTA  MY  FACE  ,  SYLV  .   I  CAN’T  EVEN  LOOK  AT  YA‘  RIGHT  NOW  .   ❞

    she  is  going  off  about  her  day  as  usual,  lips  painted  crimson  red  as  the  pearl  necklace  hangs  on  her  neck  --  fingertips  holding  onto  a  milkshake.  yet  something  feels  odd  --  something  smells  odd.  veronica  turns  around  to  try  and  find  the  source  of  the  smell  of  death  coming  from  the  back  of  her  favorite  diner  when  she  sees  her  --  cigarette  in  hand.  “i’m  sorry,  would  you  mind  not  impregnating  a  place  where  people  eat  with  so  many  toxins?  i  like  my  lungs,  thank  you  very  much.”

“i don’t know what to believe anymore” the little archangel shrugs her shoulders as she puts the milkshake down in front of the other. “did you want fries with that order?” she adds absent mindley. 

❝   WAIT  ,  WAIT  ,  WAIT  !   ❞    mask  was  quickly  ripped  from  his  face  ,  leaving  dark  hair  in  a  matted  mess  stuck  to  his  forehead  .   an  old  halloween  disguise  that  had  been  stuffed  away  in  the  attic  ,  it  showed  its  age  with  dust    &    cracks   —–  but  perhaps  it  seemed  more  frightening  in  the  dark  from  afar  .   ALWAYS  A  JOKESTER   —  NEVER  KNOWING  THE  RIGHT  PLACE  OR  TIME  .    the  rubber  face  was  placed  on  the  cold  metal  table  of  the  morgue  ,  along  with  a  shiny  silver  scalpel  that  left  a  clanking  sound  .    ❝   god  —-  it  was  just  a  joke  !   ❞
