Angst with some sweet fluff at the end.

As watching actual TV shows on twitch goes, you’ve been sucked in to watching Hell’s Kitchen on Foolish’s stream with mostly Karl, but anyone else who wants to watch. But you’ve been really addicted to it. You’re not sure if it’s the obsession with food, simple reaction content, or Gordon Ramsey himself, but you’re there for every episode.

It’s on those final episodes where the contestants are on the last stretch of the cooking show. They usually have a family reunion episode. One where the contestants have been away from there families for more than two months at a time and they get to just speak to their family in person for a bit.

You sat next to Foolish, directly in frame on stream. Something you like about Foolish’s angle of stream is that you are able to hold hands comfortably when no one can see it. It’s simple but it means the world to you.

Usually the show is really enjoyable, really funny as Karl and Foolish poke fun at anything from dialogue, production edits, and cooking. As if they had any clue how to cook on this scale.

This episode in specific however just hit very hard. Watching these people reunite with moms, dads, aunts, children and just about everyone just makes you want to cry. At first it’s very sweet when a small smile is on your face. Then the sadness hits when the contestants start crying. Your eyes water a bit at the tears on screen. Foolish is distracted discussing something else completely random while your focus is 100% on the show. You can’t even hear what Foolish and Karl are talking about now. You forget your even on stream in-front of thousands of people.

With a big frown on your face, and tears starting to drip down your face you feel pure loneliness. Not sure if it’s personal due to your life or just feeling emotional that day. It’s just really upsetting thinking about those families being apart and how they feel seeing them now.

What Foolish noticed was ur hand going limp in his. He glanced over at you, as he is usually does on stream, just checking up on you. He was confused on what has happened in the last few minutes.

“You okay?” He asks genuinely, worry on his face.

You snap back into it. Realizing your live on stream and crying. It scares you a bit.

“Oh Um yeah I’m sorry” you glance at chat on the second monitor who is spamming:

“Is y/n okay?“

“What happened”

“LMAO She’s crying”

“KEKW”

“Sadge I’m crying too”

Your eyes widen at them, and your hands go quickly to wipe your tears. Embarrassed because you know this will get clipped and spread all over Twitter within ten minutes.

“Sorry haha I’m okay just a sad moment” you try to laugh it off.

Foolish looks at you with a sad smile and a knowing look. He gives you a side hug as being seated next to each other.

“It’s okay bubby. You’re okay” He whispers that last part while sneaking a quick kiss to your forehead.

Foolish. He makes everything brighter and better. He truly lights up your world like no one else has. With some quick words, gentle kiss, and squeeze to your hand, he has made it all better. You know you are not alone. He’s your backbone and your drive to be the best you.

You smile at him. The worry about being on stream leaves your mind as you whisper “I love you”.

“I love you much more” he says confidently, with no care that he is on stream. He smiles his beautiful face at you.

I dont think people realize how bittersweet the eternal duo friendship is. Here we have a character who's name has been dug through the mud so many times that his whole self worth is brought down to being a traitor. And those who are closer to him still know and were effected by his betrayal. But theres only one person who saw something else; Foolish. Foolish knows Eret better than anyone else (as far as we know)

But the sad part is that Eret doesnt remember Foolish at all. Anything Foolish says is just new information to Eret. Their friendship is so one sided to the point that Eret, no matter how hard he tries, wouldn't be able to reciprocate that same bond Fookish wants to have again. Eret would have to magically gain all his memories back.

It's just so bittersweet. The one person who claims that Eret can trust the most is not much more than an unknown entity. The one time Eret can finally start to heal and gain a healthy relationship with someone it's always filled with a lingering sense of mystery.
