Okay so this app is called Blossom 🪴 Have you heard of it? My sister just told me about it last night and I am just??? Amazed?? Maybe there is an even better one out there who knows, but I love this one and I NEED it.
Bc okay well, I love plants and I am good to them for the most part but I have been insisting since FOREVER that I need to get on a better watering schedule. And this app does it for me. You take a snap of your plant, it identifies it for you and adds it to your “virtual garden” and then you can set up care reminders. Also, it keeps that picture you took so you aren’t looking at some random picture of a plant you are looking at YOUR plant. (That’s my snake plant below, it’s been in our family since the 70’s!!!)
Plus? I just love seeing “my garden” on my phone and looking adoringly at my lovely list of plants!!! And I can name them in it! I haven’t yet but just you wait. Okay okay, I know I have been super excited, overly excited maybe, considering you probably all know about this app already. But I can’t help it. I love it.
ETA: also I forgot to warn, after the free trial, you do need to pay for it, it’s $19.99 for a year. However!!! my sister gave me the awesome tip that if you toggle this one option when you first sign up and basically say “no thanks”, they offer it to you for 50% at $9.95 a year.

I am caring for my plants this morning and drinking a coffee smoothie and I noticed I accidentally got some dirt in the last bit of my smoothie. I hesitated a second and then just swirled it around the cup and gulped it down.
A little dirt isn’t gonna kill me, if nothing else I probably got healing +2 from it.
Just had a relaxing bath and used this face mask. It made my face sting a little? But maybe it was worth it bc when I took a look at my face after the bath the skin did look fresh and bright and it felt great.

Are you a bed maker? I am. I started a couple years ago and I have been doing it almost daily ever since. There is just something about walking in our room or past our room and seeing the made bed that adds an injection of stress-relief to my body.
Another thing I love is this picture I bought at Kirkland’s about a year and half ago. The second I saw it there my eyes were drawn to it and as I looked throughout the store I kept walking over by it and looking some more because there was just something about it that, again, made me feel peaceful and less stressed.
I still have not completed putting up wall art above our bed (and we’ve been here 8 years this may!) but my plan for awhile has been to buy historical/botanical prints from Etsy, get them printed and frame them. Two or three haven’t decided yet.
Idk just felt like sharing a part of me (and my home) that is my happy place!
