Detox Day 2: Fold Forward and Unplug
Now that you've made it to the second day of the Detox, how are you feeling? A bit lighter, a little more energized? You will.
Today you'll start off with yesterday's yoga stretches, as you will for each day of the cleanse. You'll also enjoy a new asana sequence of Forward Folds.
If you haven't done so already, make today the day that you start to unplug from outside stimulation. This means reducing the amount of time you spend on the computer and phone, driving, and watching television. Try to limit your interactions to those that nourish you, and spend some time by yourself. The key ideas here are slow and quiet.
Meanwhile, continue eating your veggies and drinking your herbal tea. Also, make sure to drink plenty of warm or room-temperature purified water this week. This will help waste products move through your system.
