Angolan guerrillas of the FNLA, MPLA, and UNITA, respectively.
The FNLA, operating out of Zaire, was the most well equipped of the guerrilla forces, equipped by Israel in the 60s, and then by China after than, who also sent military advisors. Even the US sent financed them. Money and arms did not equal combat effectiveness however, and following Portugal's defeat, the FNLA was a big loser in the ensuing Civil War.
The MPLA was less financed, poorly armed, and took the brunt of losses during the Colonial War. However, after the war ended and the various groups turned on each other, control of the oil fields and an influx of support from Cuba allowed the MPLA to triumph, and they have remained in power in Angola since.
Closely allied with the MPLA during the war, as their principle opposition in the ensuing Civil War, UNITA became the African proxy for the United States and South Africa, and continued to fight even long after the end of the Cold War, laying down their arms only after the 2002 cease fire.
