In this school, everybody has secrets.

My partner has covid as of yesterday (or prob monday). 

I tested negative yesterday and today. So we’re keeping our distance, he’s sleeping and staying in another room and uses the bathroom on that floor. I use the bedroom (same floor) and the whole downstairs domain.

Which all together sounds big, but isn’t. It’s 66 square meters (710 square feet?). Some of the vids of ‘Living big in a tiny house’ feature ‘tiny houses’ that are bigger than our appartment. 

Our ventilation is pumping on the highest setting and we regularly open windows despite the cold. We wash our hands often.

And I’m still scared to get covid, as I have an immune disorder. So we do our best to keep it confined to him. 

But the last time I hadn’t cuddled him for a long time was 7 years ago, when I was working abroad. It lasted 10 days and I cried a lot. 

Now we found out the recommended time that an infected person should stay away from vulnerable people is 10 days. Suffice to say, I cried a lot again.
