Exploring the streets of New York wasnât something that he got to do much of when he lived there, but since he was visiting now - older, more experienced, and stupider - Nori decided to enjoy a leisurely stroll down the cityâs sketchier roads and alleyways. There was plenty to be seen in these areas, and heâd already taken down several notes by the time he heard the voices of teenagers shouting at each other down one alley. Treading lightly on his feet, he leaned around the corner in time to see one teen yank a knife from the other by a thread. The wounded boy fled down alley, shoving past Nori with a force that knocked him off his feet.
â...Ow.â

Andrei shrieked as the pipe he had been clinging to with his hands and feet fell away from the wall, and as he came to a landing he felt an explosion of blossoming pain in his shoulder. For a moment, he lay there in shock, before a few seconds passed and he forced himself onto his feet, shaking like a leaf. His eyes were wide, manic, and he stared down at his hands that were tinged slightly red with blood. He couldnât tell how much of it was his, from the cuts and grazes heâd just opened up along his arm. Probably a good thing.Â
He hadnât even thought to steal a pair of shoes before climbing out the window, so now he was running as fast as he could, over filth, cigarette stubs and broken glass, clutching his shoulder as he ran down the back alley in nothing but a torn dress shirt and boxers. He had no idea where he was - the streets in this city were ugly, the buildings loomed above him like prison walls. An alien city in an alien country. All that he knew for certain was that he needed to get as much distance between him and that building as possible.Â
It didnât even matter if Dino had understood that he was acting in self-defense when he had been lying there with an old, perverted American bastard squeezing his throat so hard he thought his head would snap clean off; when heâd grabbed the bedside lamp and smacked him so hard it broke. When heâd kept hitting until the old man had stopped moving. It didnât matter, because he had to try to escape, even if trying was futile, even if he would end up dead. Anything had more dignity than dying like that.
There was no time to cry, or to be afraid. To think about the fact heâd committed his first murder, or that heâd been moments from the most humiliating death imaginable. He ran aimlessly, stabbing pain in his shoulder and limbs with every footfall, until finally he turned a corner and ran smack into another body.Â
He stumbled back, bracing for any attack that might come. It was a boy - an Asian boy, around his age. Dark hair, a rather hard expression. The kind of boy who looked like he might pull a knife on a challenger.Â
âSorry! I am sorry.â He croaked in a thick Eastern European accent, holding his hands up in a shaky surrender.Â
Sing: From now on we'll be using code names, I'm eagle one
-points to Kong- "Code name been there done that"
-points to Eiji- "code name currently doing that"
-points to bones- "It happened once in a dream"
-points to Cain- "If I had to pick a dude"
-points to Alex- "Eagle two"
Alex: oh thank god

The end of filming for the day meant one thing: It was time for Kiku to make up for all that energy sheâd spent with a big dinner. At home, sheâd have her favorite places to choose from, but this movie had brought her all the way to New York, offering plenty of new choices. There was a small place not far from where they were filming, and since it caught her eye, she entered the restaurant and took a seat, looking over the menu.

âThen you suck and thatâs why youâre practicing. Alright, now, keep your eyes on the target.â
He wants to be offended by that but Sing is right, his aim isnât great. He takes a breath and focuses on the target, raising the weapon- and when he pulls the trigger, the bullet goes wide. He stares at the hole he left in the wall with a sigh. âI donât plan on needing to shoot things that often, you know.â Only if he has to, for Ash.

âThink youâre ready for tomorrow? Itâs gonna be pretty risky,â Ash teases, reaching over to ruffle Singâs hair with a little smirk on his lips. The two of them didnât get on right away, but things changed a bit. There was still some animosity from Singâs side, something that Ash understood because he didnât know the full story behind Shorterâs disappearance... and yet it was significantly different compared to before. Compromise, perhaps? Whatever it was, it was keeping the both of them on the same side and thatâs what was important, even if they didnât fully trust each other.

"I smell like Chinese, weirdo." Sing said softly as he ran his hand through Eiji's hair.
âYou smell like dumplings.. and that nice cologne you always wear..â he mumbled, his eyes staying closed as he felt the otherâs fingers run through his hair. â..I love dumplings.âÂ
