Yuri Manga from the Creator of 'Masamune-kun's Revenge' and Celebrated Artist Fly Released in English
The first volume of Fly's Chasing After Aoi Koshiba (Kyou, Koshiba Aoi ni Aetara) was released in English by Kodansha last Tuesday. The manga is available digitally and in paperback.
The publisher describes the story:
Sahoko had lots of friends in high school, so there's no shortage of people to catch up with at her reunion. But the one face she wants to see is missing: that of Aoi Koshiba, her classmate and first love. A star of the basketball team, Aoi caught Sahoko's eye as an easy way to score social points. Chasing After Aoi Koshiba is serialized in Comic REX. Ichijinsha publishes two volumes in Japanese. The manga is translated into English by Alexa Frank with editing by Haruko Hashimoto and lettering by Paige Pumphrey. Kodansha will also release the second volume of the series on August 31, 2021.
Hazuki Takeoka is best known for her series Masamune-kun's Revenge. Fly (フライ) is a celebrated Yuri artist. She has contributed illustrations to the Syrup and Eclair anthologies, created and illustrated Kemono Friends, and did the covers of Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime for 2018.
