He isnāt exactly poetryās greatest fan but he definitely does enjoy it, when he has the time.
He doesnāt have any preferences but he does like to reflect about their meaning a bit.
Just... no weird things.
Classic deep (but not too deep) poetry.
If you insist he might even try it... if he has time to spare, of course.
- Beginning
When he met you he was curious about how focused you looked and he was pretty interested in your little poems.
He even started to keep an eye on you.
He always left you at Monstro Lounge little tokens of appreciation for your poems but also little tokens of his love for you.
And when you questioned him about it he simply declared.

He is already a very thoughtful person but youāll surely love it when you two get together.

Floyd is really no poetry lover because he has no intention to study and think about what everything means.
Despite that heāll love whatever you do.
And heāll especially love nice-sounding poetries.
You know... those little poetries you say singing them a bit are more like his kind of thing.
And heāll also like it if you make him little drawings with words (calligrams).
For example what about a nice-sounding poetry whose words form a eel?
Maybe together with a little shrimp?
Wouldnāt it be nice?
Heāll even give it a try himself.

He was initially interested in whatever you were writing whenever you went to Monstro Lounge.
And when you started blabbering about it he really found it cute.
As time passed he began to love even more your little hobby, your voice and personality.

As much as heās intrigued he really has no time for it.
School and Kalim fill his day a plenty.
In particular Kalim.
Still, if he had time to appreciate it, he might enjoy deep poetry about life meaning and sad meanings (you know... death, injustice, sadness, loneliness ecc.).
But also those that remind him of his home-land and (later on) you

He wonāt give it a try.
The most youāll get will be speeches about it during his rare free time.

At the beginning he was fascinated by how good with words you were.
And how good it must have been to be able to waste time writing (beautiful) poems.

Poetry is just not his thing.
Heās a very simple and practical boy so he doesnāt really understand all that fine chit-chat his vice-dorm leader blabbers about.
He doesnāt get the ādeep meaningsā so he thinks heāll stick to reciting nursery rhymes.
If he has to, of course.
- Beginning
He wanted your help.
You were known for being a poet and, for all he knew, poets were basically people good at that weird way of speaking Pomefioreās students had to have.
So he wanted to learn.
But just when you began your poetry talk he got confused.
Why canāt ya just say things as they are?

Still heāll start liking you for your patience and passion.

He does enjoy it although sometimes he may take it too literally.
Still he wonāt say no to reading any kind of it, mostly the classical one.
Things about life or rules suit him and he goes from liking Romantic ones to the Illuministsā ones.
Unfortunately he has no talent and, more importantly, no will to give it a try.
- Beginning
He was very interested in your poems since he really enjoyed poetry in general and he thought you wrote quite well.
Therefore he started glancing at you from afar until you noticed and started inviting him to look from a bit closer.
He really thought you were amazingly talented and creative even when you followed the strict classical structure of poetry.
- Relationship
Heāll ask you out with a tone... pretty bossy.
It was more like an order than a request but you accepted anyway.
He was soo happy he risked crying.
And he swore heād be the best boyfriend ever.
Unfortunately there were no āguidelines for being a perfect boyfriendā nor any rules so he was a bit... lost.
At lest at the beginning.
He started to write down what you liked and what you didnāt so that he had some guidelines.
And, of course, he knew you loved poems so he tried to write you one.
And he failed.
So he just gave up and started giving you feedbacks, although he could be too harsh sometimes.
And he never let you forget how talented you are.

Once you move in know that there are rules and he wonāt let you slide if you forget to do your chores.
Of course heāll change them when youāre against tight important deadlines but expect the normal ones to be back right after you handed in your poems.

He wanted to write you a poem.
But it came a bit stiff so it was practically a proposal with rhymes here and there.
Still it worked.
He was very nervous about it but he did it and now he could call you his wife.
And it really sounded great.
Heāll be caring and thoughtful but also a bit clumsy.
Heāll overwork himself but no matter how busy heāll have always time for you.
And, if heās not too tired, heāll also love to read your poems (completed or not) and cuddle before going to sleep.
