it was quiet at work the other day and i started thinking about how tragic their love story would have been (you know, as one does)

sybill as this cassandra type figure who is constantly disbelieved. her classmates ridicule her and her parents silenced her from a young age, shaming her for visions she couldn’t control. lily understanding her, seeing the parts of her soul everyone else has called disgusting and loving her all the more.

just imagine them as little first years finding someone else who adores stevie nicks just as much. their first kiss was at the end of second year while they were listening to fleetwood mac songs as they watched the golden sunrise. lily watching the sun cast diamonds over the lake, then turning to sybill thinking nothing shines as bright as her. them falling in love over the course of thousands of shared records <3

sybill having a vision of lily’s death in sixth year. brought up to believe that she is poison, she breaks up with lily and obliviates her in a desperate attempt to save her from this fate. she is certain that she would be the reason for lily dying so young.

sybill having to watch from a distance as lily falls for james and gets married. the only way she bears it is remembering she has saved lily from the painful fate awaiting her had she stayed with sybill

lily never having any memory of sybill, but having a sinking feeling whenever she listens to music. sybill was so intertwined into every song she knew. she couldn’t put her finger on why certain songs simultaneously made her feel so sad while feeling like coming home.

sybill hearing about halloween 1981 and mentally going into free fall. her sister pandora has to check by every day to make her eat.

pandora dying in 1990 trying to create a cure for sybil’s depression. sybill wanting to follow her to the grave, with only one thing stopping her- lily’s boy starting at hogwarts. he has her eyes, yes, everyone could see that. but he has her soul too, which lily only shared with sybill. she tries every day to be half as kind as lily was, especially to those unloved elsewhere. harry’s sense of justice reminded sybill so viciously of lily’s own

in the end, sybill obliviated the one person who would have believed her prophecy. she died thinking she really was poison after all

flowerseer headcanons!

so flowerseer isn't my absolute favourite pairing bUt i do seeing them having some sort of romance for a while (im sorry 😔)

they knew each other before but only started talking during prefect rounds.

they eventually started their own fifth year study group (which included regulus, remus, mary, dorcas and barty [yes, my boy studies])

before her fifth year lily never really experimented/explored her sexuality but she did know that she found an attraction to girls and when she discovered pandora felt the same they decided yk,

strange, but adorable.

you would never have assumed that they'd be together and yet they were because they seemed like best friends???? who do romantic things???? it didn't make sense to anyone but it was cute.

lily would pick flowers for pandora and pandora make them matching clay jewellery (which they still wear because it's fucking adorable shut up)

they were always holding hands because lily is a sucker for physical affection and pandora is our nonchalant sweetheart

pandora introduced lily to edibles (she was aghast when she discovered she hated smoking) and you can imagine the amount of shock remus felt when lily came tripping into the common room giggling about panda being so fucking cutesy.

you could find them cuddling and reading books in a corner of the library, in the greenhouse picking flowers and strawberries, sitting at the lake with their feet in the water just enjoying the silence.

lily would crash at pandora's dorms during particularly stressful days studying for their o.w.ls and pandora would visit lily in hers when she wanted talk to someone about her paranormal theories

they enjoyed each other's company but there was a feeling of the romance being forced after a while

later on they would realise that they were better off being friends and they stayed really close after the breakup. people thought it was strange but what is loving a rosier if it's not strange?

remus is still salty he wasn't the one to break lily
