Tumblr wasn't letting me tag you in a reply on that giant ass post! I've been using Obsidian for the flow charts, but I admit it's been a bit of a learning curve, but fortunately free. The things I will do in the name of procrastination is, frankly, silly XD

ADHD time
Okay SO. My family was talking about vampires today, and I had the most ADHD brain experience known to man. The most ADHD that has ever happened at once. And I will explain to you EXACTLY how my big ADHD works!!! My folks were debating whether or not vampires can retract their fangs like cat claws. And I was like, oh! Retractable teeth? Or maybe, they fall out? Like sharks! Shark teeth fall out, and grow back! And I present to you... THE FLOW CHART.

i am trying to hold it together, but even 2 uni classes rn is overwhelming, and i’m trying to decide whether or not to drop down to 1. a decision i’ve been going back and forth on since the semester started over a month ago.
i have an intake appointment over the phone with my uni’s accessibility center on wednesday and i’m trying to hold out until then to see if they know shit i don’t know that can help me.
this year is supposed to be all about being extra gentle with ourselves, and i’ve been trying my best at that. i knew based on the one online class i had a couple years ago (with no pandemic, on s’entends) that this was going to be HARD. so it would be a smart decision to go for only 2 online classes instead of doing full time with 4.
and it was, indeed, a smart decision. but even there, i think i overestimated my capabilities. i want to drop to 1 class, and i want to fight that shitty feeling i have that’s attached to it. because the one time i really, really, do a thing that’s good for me and something not spearheaded by my pride, it still isn’t “good enough.” terrible self talk, i know.
going down to 1 class isn’t a failure. it’s all i can manage right now, and i need that to be okay. i want other people to tell me that it’s okay. i want to stay in university in whatever capacity i reasonably can.
i’m trying to hold off till wednesday.
to lighten things up, here’s a picture of my cat i took yesterday. she’s very helpful. plus a notes page i’m particularly happy with for one of my ethics readings this week.
