Gabriella Crepi’s Floriform Punto ‘83 Cocktail Table, 1982,

This table was created for Milan’s Museo della Scienza e della Tecnica as part of the exhibition "I Plurimi di Gabriella Crespi" introduced by Vanni Scheiwiller. 

The breakthrough work is composed of swiveling flower-petal-shaped stainless-steel-mesh panels that form a stepped, circular tabletop; a pump mechanism in the pedestal base allows the whole surface to be raised or lowered.
