KurtJMac reached the Minecraft Far Lands back in October, spent a few months performing experiments, exploring, and building a monument/National Park visitor's center to commemorate the occasion, then set off for the Corner Lands on December 31st. On March 13th he pressed F3 for the first time to check his coordinates, and we learned that he has walked over 200,000 blocks so far this year. It's over 12.5 million blocks to the Corner Lands, so he's a little less than one-sixtieth of the way there. At his current pace, he'll get there in less time than the first leg of his journey took.
