you are a terror, aren’t you? / flirsty Ciel for Dean MAYHAPS
HOWL’S MOVING CASTLE // @prosewrote
THE THING DEAN hated most about fighting demons was that their vessels, alive inside or not, sprayed human blood regardless of the possession. They created a mess, one that made him feel tainted and disgusted by the time he was through, knowing that the bodies had once belonged to normal people, good people. But even so, a job was a job, and doing the unpleasant things that regular people could not was a hunter’s duty.
IT DIDN’T MAKE the stench of death any less intrusive, nor the slick of blood in his hands from his wet knife and the smear across his cheek from a careless wipe any less foul. It got him through, helped him to endure, and that was truly all he could ask for. Especially when he was staring down at a back alley of four corpses, destroyed by his own hands, the demons inside excised by force.
“IT’S NOT LIKE you tried to help,” he called back, rolling his eyes. Dean was no idiot; he’d felt the presence of another demon near the end of the fight. This one hadn’t joined in, though, and the combination of the lack of attack and the familiar feel of this demon had let Dean know who it was. He turned, suffering only a few minor scrapes and bruises himself—the blood on him not belonging to himself. “You could have done something, Ciel.”
