Something Flip really likes is to lay out on a branch while it’s snowing and just listen. Her element makes her quite resistant to cold temperatures, so the ambient noise of falling snow and the crackle of ice forming is one of the most relaxing things she can think of. It’s a bit sad that most folks she’s around and about look poorly on cold weather, but warm-blooded beings don’t have much choice in the matter, she supposes.

Oh, she’s a GRAND cook. It’s not often that she’ll make whole meals, being more of a constant grazing sort, but when she cooks for friends, it is always a mighty feast. Her TOO MUCH gene never quite calms itself in those cases. She is careful to avoid offering pure Fae foods to non-Fairy folk, though. Otherwise, every Human food would forever taste of ashes in comparison.

For a long time, Flip was not capable of feeling something like a crush, as she was confined with a Heart Lock. But she’s more prone to feeling what’s known as cute aggression, where one sees something or someone cute and wants to squish it. Thanks to a lot of needling from Jil, she’s begrudgingly admitting to liking Castiel. With his stupid pretty face and dumb flappy wings and his weirdo gravelly voice and his ancient googly eyes and uggghhhhh fffiiiiiinnnnnneeeee!!! Freaking… nerd… She felt a bit of a crush on a Sunset Sprite back in her youth, but that would be the only other one. Not many Feelings of those sort to be had from Flip.

Usually, Flip would simply mate with Shadows that she would conjure whenever she came to be in Heat as a means to an end. Her line of work is dangerous, and it’s hard for her to think of being in a relationship. The only other time she’d mated was for duty. She and a Sprite from another Kingdom were paired together as a joining-of-lands deal. As they were both of royal blood, it was seen as necessary. They both hated it because they’d rather have been friends. It was Heartbreaking.

When I first came up with Flip, waaaaay back when I was like… EIGHT… I wrote that the Moon Sprites had natural predators when they actually lived out on the Moon, before migrating to Earth. My eight year old brain thought it would be funny if they had one eye and one horn. And they ate flying purple people. That’s right. One-eyed-one-horned-flying-purple-people-eaters. Flip as she is now would dismiss them as extinct, but she was pretty spooked by the idea when she was little.

SHE NEEDS MORE OF IT. She uses time jumps in order to work 600 hours per week before she’ll take a rest. So when she sleeps, she sleeps hard. Flopped over, slight snoring, messed up hair. She’s as graceful as a drunk buffalo.

She is a bit afraid of what the future will hold when her sanity cracks fully and she inevitably becomes a Nightmare as well. Measures have been taken that will ensure her powers can be dampened enough to kill her if need be. She’s not afraid of Death, no, she’ll greet him willingly without a fight when it’s her time to go. It’s the what-ifs. The potential damages. She’s horrified that she might hurt someone she cares about.
