Muse: Flip Frost

1: Almost every object in Flip’s home is animated. She isn’t entirely sure when this happened, because sometimes things can absorb her Magics by proxy for short periods of time if they’re around her enough. If a book flaps around to follow her like a pet bird, she’s learned not to be surprised by it. It’s actually sort of soothing. It keeps her from feeling lonely at home.

2: Flip keeps a pocket watch on her to remind her when in time she is currently existing as well as what timeline, and the particular dimension. It has about one hundred hands on it, but she can usually read it accurately at a glace.

3: Most people never see what Flip naturally looks like. The familiar lavender skin and auburn hair are over-skins that Moon Sprites wear as part of an evolution to protect themselves from prejudice. She has a stone hard crystalline body and silver white hair which is only ever out in the open when she’s in a Moon Phase (she doesn’t go near people during), or if she’s losing her temper/feeling heavy guilt and starts to sear through the false soft skin.

4: Flip has a dual voice which she tones down to sound like one singular voice because it can be confusing for people to listen to. Sometimes one voice speaks faster and higher than the other, or might start speaking on a whole different subject all at once. Possibly even in Old Spritish or a random other language. Depending on your perspective, it can be pretty to listen to, or horrifying.

5: Sometimes Flip will sit in trees nearby playgrounds to watch children play. Humanity in its purest form is humbling to observe.

6: Eclipses make her very ill because they mess with her magical core functions.

7: Flip can be very physically affectionate with people she likes, out of Fae instinct, so if there are things that make a person uncomfortable (playing with their hair, cheek nuzzles, hugs, small tickles, nose boops, sitting on their head, etc., etc...), you have to be clear (but please be polite!) that it’s bothersome or she’ll probably keep doing it. Flip can be reasonable, regardless of trickster tendencies.

8: She has hundreds of engraved tattoos over her crystal body which don’t show through to the lavender skin. She carves them in herself.

Every day. She can Magic herself clean, but she says it doesn’t FEEL as clean if not done traditionally.

3) DOES YOUR MUSE HAVE ANY TATTOOS OR PIERCINGS?

Tons. While she’s in proper Moon Form, her body is diamond-esque and she’s decorated it with hundreds of pretty little etched tattoos. Also both earlobes are pierced.

4) ANY BODY MOVEMENT QUIRKS (E.G. TAPPING HEEL, SHAKING KNEE)?

Ear twitching, finger tapping, shoulder rolling. That sort of thing.

5) WHAT DO THEY SLEEP IN?

Usually a tank top and underpants/short shorts.

6) WHAT’S THEIR FAVORITE PIECE OF CLOTHING?

She kept a ballgown of her mother’s which she intends to wear on a special occasion should the need arise. It’s a glittering silver floor length number.

7) WHAT DO THEY DO WHEN THEY WAKE UP?

Make an itinerary for the areas she’ll be working in later in the evening. Maybe eat some apple bread.

8) HOW DO THEY SLEEP? POSITION?

Curled up in a pile of pillows on a hanging bed.

Chilly, soft, heavy.
