It had taken a good part of her day, but Kitt had finally managed to finish her decorations for the holidays. Wiping her brow a bit, she gave a satisfied smile as she looked over her work. In the far corner of the living room stood a medium sized Christmas tree. It was around the same height as her and was decked out in silver tinsel that wrapped around it like a long, fuzzy stole. Many small mult-colored ornaments made of glass and metal hung from it’s spiky, pine branches ... Along with a bright golden star placed on the very top of the tree. 

On the shelves against the wall, there were quite a few festive nick nacks placed upon them. A couple of wooden nutcrackers and a candle that was lit to give off the sweet scent of cinnamon vanilla chai. It’s warm glow was also reflecting off the metallic tinsel and ornaments, which made the tree appear as if it was sparkling from the small flame. She was so preoccupied by the sight of it all that she wouldn’t notice anyone in particular coming up to her.

    A sleepover game? It’d been ages since she’d played anything that wasn’t a party game or strip poker. This was going to be a teensy bit more difficult than she’d thought. Humming, Emilia tapped a manicured nail against ruby lips, brows drawn. What could she possibly offer that tabloids hadn’t already eaten up or torn to pieces? Being Princess of an entire Kingdom meant she wasn’t exactly the most private of people. She’d have to get a little more personal with this one.

Ai would definitely be a druid of some sorts. Maybe an elf or an Aasimar if I’m feeling fancy. lol And look like this.

"Not about what I wish, is it?" Flip examined her talons. "I've never been clear on the whole nudity/embarrassment thing. Most Fae spend a great deal of their lives naked, so it's purely a cultural difference."

The Sprite conjured a roll of parchment and bapped him on the forehead gently.

☀  “How did my quirk manifest...?”

  All she could do was nod knowingly as she listened to his explanation. Crystal understood that he probably wouldn’t be a deterred from pursuing this as she’d hope. At the very least, she could play as if this had nothing to do with her. That was her past--something she’d tried to run from and had failed miserably. She didn’t want to return to those days. So, she giggled and beamed at him--acting as if this whole topic didn’t phase her as much as he may have thought. “Yeah, that makes sense, I guess. Since your whole job is tracking down baddies, right? Good luck, I guess!! Maybe you’ll have better luck tracking her down.”

  He reached for his cup and she wondered for only a moment if she should order two more drinks. It was the least she could do, given how much cold she radiated. “Want another? My treat.” Her emotions were all over the place. Nervous and a little bit anxious didn’t even describe it. If he truly meant to hunt down this woman, then she could be in danger. Which would inevitably lead to the fight she’d been trying to avoid in the first place.

  Crystal was a changed woman--she was good!!--and she didn’t plan on letting Glacies have her way anymore. So, why couldn’t people just leave her alone? “Magical power, physical power, places of power, positions of power... They’re all the same, really. Or, at least, that’s what I think. I have yet to run into someone who didn’t want to ‘ detain ’ me for playing a little prank. The look on their faces was totally worth it, though!”

  Then she started and addressed the topic he found so interesting. Despite not wanting to touch on the subject of her father, he seemed so intrigued in her ancestry. “I wasn’t born an elemental--though, I think my village would’ve said otherwise. I really liked winter and the snow--don’t get me wrong--but I was born a human girl. I think it happened... when I was resurrected? See, Granny Dreadful tried a lot of spells on me before I got to where I am today. Vampire saliva, fairy teeth, mermaid hair, dragon scales, elf nails? She tried all kinds of potions and spells on my spirit, ooo boy, you wouldn’t believe it.”
