It’s hard to see in the picture, but the Subaru 6 cylinder is noticeably larger than the Buick 8 cylinder. Granted, the Buick engine is still missing its heads, timing cover, and oil pan, but its architecture is more compact. And people think the Buick 350 is a wide engine, ha! When completed with upgraded accessories, the iron block v8 will only weigh 40lbs or so more than the all aluminum h6, and have more than double the horsepower, with about the same gas mileage. The magic of twin turbo!
