Fleabite Encounter (1990s)

i'm just going to put a bunch of crappy bandlab projects on here because otherwise they're just never going to see the light of day. this one's very strange and synthy with a really awful 5 second section in the middle. I was loosely inspired by rain world, and I named it fleabite because I had previously made a short project with a very bouncy sounding synth called timothea the flea, to which fleabite is a successor.

Fleabite is Alex and Joanie's little brother and the only kitten who survived the dog attack. After the death of his mother and siblings, he was adopted by another stray female who had just given birth to her own kittens. She didn't hesitate at all to adopt him and loved him just as much as her other babies. When he grew a bit older, he became flea-bitten (obviously resulting in his name), and his adopted siblings started avoiding him. He loves his adopted siblings, so this obviously made him sad. He decided to start hanging out with his biological siblings Alex and Joanie (especially Alex, whom he IDOLIZES), and while Joanie didn't mind having her little brother around, Alex found him gross and annoying and would always push him away. Despite Alex rejecting him, Flea never stopped idolizing his brother. One day, Fleabite gets captured by animal control. While in an animal shelter, he's given flea medication that kills his fleas (he still has the bald spots but his fleas are all gone), and ends up being adopted by a family (who rename him Scruffy). This family has another kitten, a girl named Princess, and a hyper but friendly dog named Max. At first, Fleabite is desperate to get back to his family and tries to escape, but after making friends with the other pets and experiencing love from his owners, he starts to prefer being a pet over being a stray. Back on the streets, Alex hears about Fleabite's kidnapping and feels guilty, and he and Joanie go on a mission to find him and get him back. But what if he decides to stay with his new family?
